Journey to Tanzania to experience African Wildlife
 

Join the One World Journeys Expedition team as we transport you to Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania, Africa, where Dr. Jane Goodall's chimpanzee research began over 40 years ago.

For Dr. Jane Goodall, her first journey into the forest to study wild chimpanzees evolved into a life-long passion that has not only shaped our understanding of animal behavior and biodiversity, but also provided us with important links to our past, and to our future.

Yet, today, there is an urgent need to protect chimpanzees from disappearing from the wild. Due to pressures ranging from civil unrest and deforestation to the bushmeat trade and exploitation for entertainment, the survival of wild chimpanzees is in doubt.

Learn with us, through never before seen video of chimpanzee behavior, stunning wildlife photography and in-depth reporting, why the disappearance of chimpanzees from the wild not only deprives the world of a key species, but possibly jeopardizes the search for a cure for AIDS.
